STudio Policies

At The Rooted Rose, we believe in clear, kind communication and shared responsibility. These studio policies are here to help our classes run smoothly, honor everyone’s time, and make sure each student feels safe and cared for. Thank you for taking a moment to read through them.

1. Class Registration & Cancellation

Registration:Students may sign up for class up to 2 hours before class begins.If no one is registered by the 2-hour mark, the class will be cancelled.

Cancellation: You may cancel your reservation up to 4 hours before class with no fee.

Cancellations within 4 hours will result in a loss of a class pass, or a $10 late cancel fee for unlimited members.

No-Show Policy:

Not attending a class you are signed up for will result in a $15 no-show fee or a pass deduction.

Account Adjustments: We understand that life happens, and we’re happy to offer flexibility when needed. To ensure fairness for all members, account adjustments are limited to one per month and should be requested within 24 hours of your scheduled class. Thank you for helping us maintain a supportive and consistent community for everyone.

2. Late Arrival Policy

To honor the flow and safety of the class:

• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.
• Doors lock at the start of class.
• If you are running a few minutes late, you will be late cancelled.

3. Studio Etiquette

Our space is meant to feel grounding, respectful, and welcoming.

Please help uphold this intention by:

• Silencing cell phones before class
• Removing shoes in the designated area
• Speaking softly in the studio to support a calm atmosphere
• Being mindful of strong scents or perfumes
• Cleaning and returning props after use
• Treating instructors and fellow students with kindness and respect

4. Membership & Class Pass Policies

• All class passes have set expiration dates, listed at purchase
• Passes and memberships are non-refundable
• Passes may not be shared between students
• Monthly unlimited members agree to applicable late cancel and no-show fees
• Special events, workshops, and series classes may have separate policies

5. Child & Teen Participation Policy

We gladly welcome younger students into our community. For safety and clarity:

• Students under 13 must have parent/guardian permission
• Certain classes may have age recommendations for maturity and safety
• Parents/guardians should ensure their child can follow instructions and studio etiquette
• Please reach out if you have questions about which classes are appropriate for your child or teen

We love supporting mindful movement for all ages.

6. Weather & Snow Day Policy

Living in Colorado means winter can surprise us.

If weather conditions require classes to be cancelled:

• Students will be notified by email and/or booking system updates
• Class passes will be returned
• Safety always comes first — please stay home if the roads feel unsafe

7. Health & Safety Policy

To keep our community protected:

• Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell
• Notify your instructor of any injuries before class
• Hands-on assists are always optional — you may decline at any time
• Personal belongings should be kept in designated areas

8. Lost & Found / Personal Items

The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Please keep valuables with you or in a safe place.
